Today's Verse: In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians 3:12 (NIV)
You do know that you can't just go up and talk to the President of the USA... right?  (Not saying you want to, but even if you did, you can't... someone will stop you).

Any person in power (royalty, world leader, etc.) are surrounded by rules that keep people at bay.  I would love to see what would happen if you knocked on the door of the White House and asked to talk to the President.

Do you KNOW what they would do to you?  I believe the very least, they would slam the door in your face (and perhaps laugh in said face first), at the worst, they could arrest you and accuse you of being a terrorist.  (Depends on how you look and what you say...)

Do you know who gets to have nearly unlimited access to world leaders?  Their family.

That's what this verse is about.  God is the King.  When we accept Him, we become His daughters, He adopts us.  When he adopts us, we become the King's daughters, or Princesses.   Because of this faith, we can go up to our Abba (Daddy) any time we have something to say.

We don't have to call ahead to make an appointment, and we don't have to approach carefully, worried He might get angry.  We can approach Him with FREEDOM and CONFIDENCE.

We can do that because we are HIS.  He views us as someone worth listening to.

Don't you think we should approach Him a little bit more?

Women who live like they are Free and Confident are BEAUTIFUL!!

  1. Love that you addressed us as princesses, God's daughters. I do believe there is a move for us to see ourselves as His daughters...thus princesses...and men are seeing that women are truly priceless because of that. Great post.
