I Love Summer Bucket List Update Week One

To read more about this chaos visit my I Love Summer page and it will explain everything.

My kids and I made a bucket list this summer and we are making good progress.

This is what we did this week (and last week too):

1. Last week we went and spent 5 days in DISNEYLAND! woo hoo!  You can read more about that here.

2. This week we met some friends and went to a park with a water feature or a "sprayground".

3. We went blueberry picking (and picked 4 pounds of blueberries - $3 per pound) with some other friends, and then later that day had yet another friend over to play out back with the slip-n-slide.

4. We signed up for the Library's reading program and visited our Farmer's Market (bought some cherries and peaches) - and of course met some friends.

5. C and B learned how to rinse and load dishes, to wash dishes by hand and to make a fruit salad (with all of the fruit we collected from various sources). {Surprisingly I have no pictures of these things... hmmm}

6. We went swimming in one of the nearby rivers {the Stanislaus I do believe}

7. Yesterday, I created my very first Vlog and linked up with Kelly from Kelly's Break room for the Dialect Quiz.  Enjoy the embarassment:

Not bad for the first couple weeks of Summer vacation, I am not sure I can keep up this pace, but we are having fun trying! :)

  1. Thanks for joining our momma notes. You are an encouragement to me and countless other moms. We would be delighted to have you link up this post or another again.

    Monday ... join the melody.

    Simply slip your post into the link up. You can grab the button if you would like as well. I'll start the splash on Mondays. And I know the filled to the brim momma schedules ... so join us any day of the week and link up.

    Happy day,

  2. Oh how we loved our time at Disney too ... 5 days must have been the best.

    Thanks for joining the melody this week. I would be delighted to have you add your voice each week. I jot some momma notes on Monday ... but its a post whenever you can during the week kind of link up. I get the filled to the brim momma schedules.

    Happy day,
