Don't Let the Sun Go Down { Ephesians 4:26-27}

Verse: And "don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. Ephesians 4:26-27

Main Idea: Being angry is not a sin, but allowing anger to control you is.  When you stay angry at someone for more than a day or two you are building up walls inside your heart and Satan is helping.  While it is sometimes hard to turn off the emotion, you can always choose to forgive your friends, family and even enemies every single day.  This will protect your heart and your relationships with other people.

2} How can you let anger "control you"?
3} Why is it important to let go of anger at the end of every day?  What do you think it means to "give the devil a foothold"?
4} Have you ever forgiven someone, even before they apologized or asked for forgiveness?  What was the situation?  How did it feel?
5} Sometimes it is really hard to resolve every fight before you go to bed every night, how can you keep yourself from going to bed angry when you can't resolve the conflict?
6} What do you think would happen if you allowed your anger and lack of forgiveness to destroy a friendship?  How can you protect yourself from that happening?
